The mindchanging.com politics blog is an eclectic forum dedicated to the substantive reform of American politics. It is non-partisan and encourages both contributors and readers to think beyond the divisions of political parties and ideologies. In particular, it explores the intersection of ethics, economics, and politics. Here are some examples of questions that are relevant to political reform:

• Whether it is a conflict of interest for public officials to take  money from private individuals.
  
• Whether election campaigns should be publicly financed in order to avoid conflicts of interest.
• Whether corporations should be treated like individual citizens.
• Whether individual citizens have a right to work.

There are no specific recommendations for submissions, but individuals are encouraged to submit content that will engage the general public.

Content should be 500-1000 words and proof read. Images should be in JPG format and less than 100 KB. Video clips should be no more than 5 minutes and less than 500 KB.
